If you are eager in your job seeking, you tend to make simple error along the way. Ensure you :
- Do not say too much! Yes you are eager to get the job but do not give out too much information to potential employer
- Inform your family and friends that you are seeking new job opportunity. By doing this, you may get referred to a job or made known of a job opening
- Listen carefully to the question and answer accordingly. Do not give lengthy information neither one word replies.
- Wait for the interviewer / employer to offer the job rather than asking when you could start.
- Know the salary range for the job that you are applying. Do not ask too high or too low.
- Are well prepared for the interview. An interviewer usually takes note if the interviewee has knowledge about their organization and business nature.
- Take ownership of the negative points in your CV – such as job hopping.
- Stay focused in the interview session. Do not get distracted with anything that is happening outside the interview room – should the room has glass panel.
